While the core functionalities remain the same as our standard cards, the Metal Cards provide a more premium and exclusive user experience.

- Double Reward Vouchers: Choose transactions once per month to earn double rewards on, with a potential value of up to £/€100.
- Stackable Perks: Select the same Perk multiple times to increase the value in rewards you can earn at a single brand.

Please note, customers will have a 14-day refund period during which they can request a refund if they change their mind about their Metal Card bundle purchase. After this period, bundles are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances as determined by Plutus.
Supercharged Perks
What are Supercharged Perks and how do they work?
Customers who purchased one of our Metal Card bundles (Champion, Master, or Grandmaster) get access to Supercharged Perks. Normally, you can earn up to £/€10 worth of PLU at selected Perks each month. With Supercharged Perks, the earning potential is higher, depending on the Metal Card bundle you purchased:
- Champion: Up to £/€20 per Perk for 3 months
- Master: Up to £/€30 per Perk for 6 months
- Grandmaster: Up to £/€50 per Perk for 12 months
How do I use my Supercharged Perks?
Simply select your Perks in-app and spend as normal. You will automatically earn rewards equivalent to what you spend, up to your limit. For example, if you have the Lidl Perk selected and spend €17 there, you would earn €17 worth of PLU.
Can Supercharged Perks be consumed across multiple transactions?
Yes, Supercharged Perks work the same way as regular Perks. You will earn rewards on the first £/€20/30/50 worth of card spending at the selected Perk, regardless of the number of transactions made.
Will rewards earned on past transactions increase now that my Perks are supercharged?
No, rewards earned from past transactions will not change now that your limits have increased. For example, suppose you made an €89 transaction at Lidl and hit your usual €10 in PLU Perk limit, you will not automatically earn an additional €40 in PLU with the new supercharged Perks limit of €50 (Grandmaster bundles only). However, all new transactions will continue to earn rewards up until you reach your new limit.
I’ve used up my ordinary £10 Perks limit for the month, and now supercharged Perks are activated, what happens?
When your Metal Card benefits go live, you will notice an increase in your Perks limit. For example, if you have a Grandmaster bundle, your Perk allowance will increase to €50. If you have already earned your ordinary €10 worth of PLU for a Perk this month, it will now show as €10/€50 filled.
Double Rewards Voucher
What are Double Reward Vouchers and how do they work?
Double Rewards Vouchers allow you to double the rewards earned from a transaction. For example, if you earned 5 PLU for a transaction and then applied the Double Rewards Voucher, this would increase to 10 PLU for that transaction. You can earn a maximum of £/€100 worth of PLU when using a Double Rewards Voucher.
How many Double Reward Vouchers do I receive?
The number of Double Rewards Vouchers you receive depends on your Metal Card bundle:
- Champion: 1x voucher each month for 3 months
- Master: 1x voucher each month for 6 months
- Grandmaster: 1x voucher each month for 12 months
When will I receive my Double Reward Vouchers and do they expire?
You will receive Double Rewards Vouchers on the 1st of each month, and they will expire on the last day of that same month. Make sure to use them wisely!
How do I use my Double Reward Voucher?
After making a transaction, simply:
- Log in to the Plutus app.
- Locate your transaction on Home and tap into it.
- Click “Apply Double Reward Voucher” and confirm.
Voila! You’ll see on-screen how much extra PLU you’ve earned.
Where can I view my double rewards?
You can view any rewards earned via a Double Rewards Voucher by clicking into a transaction and viewing the receipt. They can also be viewed in the Pluton tab on the web app.
Is there a limit for Double Reward Vouchers and how does it work?
Yes, there is a £/€100 worth of PLU limit on Double Rewards Vouchers. This limit applies uniformly to all users, regardless of their subscription plan or Reward Level.
Example 1 (Capped):
If a user originally earns €80 worth of PLU on a transaction and then uses the Double Rewards Voucher, they will receive an extra €20 in PLU, bringing their total rewards to €100 for that transaction.
Example 2 (Non-Capped):
If a user originally earns €25 worth of PLU on a transaction and then uses the Double Rewards Voucher, they will receive the fully doubled amount of an additional €25 in PLU, bringing their total rewards to €50 for that transaction, which is below the €100 limit for a Double Rewards Voucher.
Why can’t I apply my Double Reward Voucher to a transaction?
There are two instances in which you may not be able to apply your Double Rewards Voucher:
- Perk-related Transactions: You cannot apply Double Reward Vouchers to Perk-related transactions.
- Ineligible PLU Transactions: To protect the integrity of our rewards program, some transactions are not eligible for PLU Rewards. If you didn’t earn rewards on the original transaction, you won’t be able to apply the Double Rewards Voucher, as there are no rewards available to double. The transaction I used for my Double Reward Voucher was refunded. What happens to my double rewards?
A: Refunded transactions will lose their rewards. If this results in losing rewards earned via a Double Rewards Voucher, please contact support for assistance.
When will my PLU become ‘Available’ after using my Double Rewards Voucher?
A: The rewards for your original transaction will become ‘available’ 45 days after the original transaction. Similarly, the additional rewards from your Double Rewards Voucher will become ‘available’ 45 days after the Double Rewards Voucher has been applied (i.e., these are treated separately).
Golden Tickets
What are Golden Tickets and how do they work?
Golden Tickets are special referral links that offer enhanced rewards for both the referrer and the referee. Using a normal referral link, both parties earn $10 in PLU. With a Golden Ticket referral link, both the referrer and the referee earn a generous $50 in PLU, making this a truly luxurious referral experience.
How many Golden Tickets do I receive?
The number of Golden Tickets you receive depends on your Metal Card bundle:
- Champion: 3x Golden Tickets
- Master: 6x Golden Tickets
- Grandmaster: 12x Golden Tickets
How do I use my Golden Tickets?
To use your Golden Tickets, simply:
- Log in to the Plutus app and head to Settings → Referrals.
- Click the Golden Ticket toggle.
- Share your unique Golden Ticket link with friends and family.
Voila! As soon as the referee completes the sign-up process by making their first deposit, both of you will receive $50 in PLU.
Does the referral link reset to the default one after the Golden Tickets are used up?
No, the referral link itself does not change. However, once all your Golden Tickets are used, the referral rewards revert to the usual $10 in PLU for both the referrer and the referee.
When will I receive my Golden Tickets and do they expire?
If you purchased a Metal Card bundle, you already have all your Golden Tickets (3, 6, or 12 depending on your bundle) available for use. These tickets can be used at any time but will expire at the end of your bundle duration:
- Champion: Expires on 5th September 2024
- Master: Expires on 5th December 2024
- Grandmaster: Expires on 5th July 2025
Stackable Perks
What are Stackable Perks and how do they work?
Stackable Perks allow you to select the same Perk more than once. For example, if you have two €10 Perks, instead of using them at different brands, you can use both at Lidl to receive €20 back in PLU Rewards!
How many Stackable Perks do I receive?
Stackable Perks are exclusively available to users who purchased the Master and Grandmaster Metal Card bundles. These users will receive 1x Stackable Perk Credit, valid for 12 months for Grandmaster bundle purchasers or 6 months for Master bundle purchasers. Similar to selecting Perks, you can update how your Stackable Perk Credit is used monthly.
Example
If your account is eligible for 4x Perks, and you have 1x Stackable Perk Credit, you could use them in the following way:
- Lidl selected 2x
- McDonald's selected 1x
- PlayStation selected 1x
You have used up 4x of your Perk slots, and you have used your 1x Stackable Perk Credit on Lidl.
Can you use Stackable Perks and Supercharged Perks together?
Absolutely! For instance, if your Metal Card bundle offers £/€50 in PLU per Perk (due to being supercharged), you can stack that Perk to increase this limit up to £/€100 in PLU.
How do I use my Stackable Perk Credit?
To use your Stackable Perk Credits, simply:
- Log in to Plutus and head to the Perks tab.
- Select the Perk of your choice.
- A drop-down will appear; click the ‘+’ button to stack it.
Voila! You will see in-app how much you can earn at each Perk. Simply spend at your selected Perk brand and you will earn rewards.
