Document Requirements for SoF Checks
Document Specifications
The documents you provide should meet the following requirements:
- File Format: .pdf, .png, .jpg, .jpeg
- Language: English or any EEA official languages, preferably in Latin alphabet.
- Quality: The full name, date, and transaction details should be clear and legible.
- Details: Documents should show both inbound transactions (your income) and outbound transactions (your deposits to the Plutus account). Bank statements, payslips, and other documents must be relevant to the time period in question and reflect your most recent balances.
Commonly Accepted Documents
Here are examples of documents commonly accepted for SoF checks:
- Salary: Copies of payslips from the previous 3 months.
- Sale Contract of a Personal Asset: Copy of the sale agreement, bank statement showing the proceeds, and statement showing the transfer to your Plutus account.
- Bank Statement: Statement showing the current balance of savings and relevant documents showing the source of savings.
- Inheritance or Gift: Copy of the inheritance will or notarized letter, and bank statement showing received funds.
- Loan: Copy of the loan agreement and bank statement showing received funds.
- Retirement Income: Receipt showing monthly income and relevant documentation.
- Crypto Trading: Crypto purchase receipts, screenshots of trading, and withdrawal activity.
- Crypto Mining: Utility bills or mining equipment purchase receipts.
Source of Funds from a Spouse
If your spouse is your source of funds, provide their source of funds and evidence of transfers from their account to yours (the account used for Plutus deposits). If you have a joint account, only the source of funds of your spouse is required.
