What Is PlutusCashback?

We’re excited to introduce PlutusCashback, a clever new way to turn your daily spending into real savings at brands you already love. Whether you’re grabbing coffee, booking travel, or shopping online, PlutusCashback puts your spending to work, helping you save money, earn rewards, and get more from your PLUS.

How It Works

Starting July 2025, all Plutus subscribers can unlock cashback from 200+ top brands across categories like food, fashion, travel, and more (limited brands during BETA):

• Each brand offers 3%–30% cashback, and costs just 1 PLUS to unlock.
• Once unlocked, a brand stays available permanently (or as long as the merchant participates).
• Simply spend with your Plutus Card and cashback is paid directly to your Plutus Account ready for you to spend again and earn even more.

Note: While Plutus does not impose limits on cashback itself, some offers may have caps or expiry dates set by the merchants. Please review individual offer terms for full details.

What’s Coming Next (After BETA)

In August, we’re rolling out a second wave with 100+ top-tier brands.

• These brands offer up to 10% each and will be tied to your Reward Level.
• Unlocking these brands doesn’t require additional stacking.
• Additional top-tier brands on top of your Reward Level allowance can be unlocked for just 1 PLUS per 1% cashback (e.g., a 5% brand = 5 PLUS to unlock permanently*).
• In total, there will be +400 brands across all categories as roll out continues.

How PlutusCashback Works

PlutusCashback is based on three things:

• Subscription Plan: Unlocks redeem access to Tier 2 brands (BETA Now Live)
• Reward Level: Determines the number of Tier 1 brands you can unlock (Q3)
• PLUS Redeemed: Used to unlock individual brands (BETA Now Live)

What You’ll See (After BETA)

• Everyone sees the full list of T1 (top-tier) and T2 (everyday) brands
• Cashback rates are shown for all brands (greyed out until unlocked)
• Unlock any brand permanently using PLUS (or until merchant participates)
• T2 brands are accessible to all subscribers
• T1 brands require a qualifying Reward Level or PLUS redemption

Unlocking Cashback

Everyday brands are accessible to all subscribers. Top-tier brands, however, are only available to Reward Level customers, either through their stacking tier or by redeeming PLUS.

Via PLUS Redemption:

Example: 

• Subscription: An everyday brand (T2) offering up to 30% cashback can be unlocked permanently for just 1 PLUS.
• Reward Level: A top-tier (T1) brand offering 8% cashback requires 8 PLUS to unlock, permanently.
  
  Note: Brands unlock without time or limit restriction from Plutus; however, rates and availability depend on how long the merchant continues to participate.

Via Reward Level (PLU Stacking)

Your current Reward Level automatically unlocks a selected number of top-tier (T1) brands of your choice, no PLUS redemption (unless you want more) or extra PLU stacking required.

What About EU Brands?

• No EU brands at launch, unfortunately, the partnership integrations take longer.
• We’re targeting a rollout in Q3–Q4 2025, TBC.

When will PlutusCashback BETA launch and which regions will it cover?

PlutusCashback BETA launches in July 2025, starting with GBP cashback for UK customers. EUR cashback support for EU customers will also be available in July. During BETA, brand availability will be limited but more brands will be added over time.

How do cashback rates and spending limits work during BETA?

Cashback rates vary by brand, region, and individual spend — up to 30%.

• T2 brands generally have no spending limits unless otherwise specified.

• T1 brands (currently in BETA) are limited to a single purchase with a capped amount set by the supplier.

⚠️Important Note: New offers from these brands are added regularly, with value offered expected to increase over time once the transaction volumes increase beyond the BETA phase. Terms apply.

Is Curve’s GBiT (or any Curve routing) supported?

No – PlutusCashback only tracks direct Plutus Card transactions (Apple / Google Pay are fine).

How fast does cashback show up?

Merchant transactions typically settle within 5 days (often 2-3). However, some settled transactions may take longer to appear in your cashback vault during this Beta phase. Rest assured, they will show once the ongoing updates are complete.

Why are there some limits on cashback offers?

While Plutus does not impose limits on cashback itself, some offers may have caps or expiry dates set by the merchants. Please review individual offer terms for full details. Read more here.

What are the limits on current Top-Tier brands?

These cashback offers are single-use during the BETA phase and may increase in value as transaction volumes grow. New offers from the same top brands are added regularly. Please check the app for the current single-purchase spending cap set by the merchant, these limits are dynamic and may change frequently.

Does cashback work combined with Perks?

Not right now – perks and cashback can’t be combined on the same spend.

Does Lidl cashback work in-store?

It works for both, online and in-store. Pay with your Plutus Card at any Lidl checkout and the cashback tracks automatically.
